Tati is in Phoenix today for work, and brought not only my Riverside Chaucer (which I'd lent her a while back), but also a book called "Painted Prayers", in which she had put post-it notes on a couple pages with good examples of 16th-century illumination ... including one that is a display of arms with supporters, helm, torse and mantling.

Definitely getting some good ideas for this project.

I may have some things you can borrow then. :-) I dunno how I'd get them to you, seein' as how I can't drive up to Phoenix, but the next time you come down here, let me know if you want to stop by and pick them up. I can (at some point, when I can weed through them) give you the book titles in case you already have them available and don't waste a trip.

That would be great! I'm not sure when I'll be down in Tucson again ... if it's not soon, I can always have Tati pick them up and bring them with her when she comes up here for work.

Works for me, just as long as you give me enough notice so that I can have them ready. :-)
