We met on Saturday, and I made my way to your journal through one of desert_zen's links. I just wanted to say thank you so much for your matchmaking efforts! You were able to do what I've wanted to for two frickin' years now, but Ms. Shy knows where I live (and I've seen what she does to other people's X-Mas decorations...oh wait, I helped with that). ;)
