Hi, I suck.
Sep. 4th, 2005 10:28 pmOr at least I am no fill-in whatsoever for the Viking Paparazzi. I didn't take my camera out even once. Nope, not joking: I didn't take a single picture.
I also didn't herald at all on Saturday, but at least I have a good reason for that: I was helping Aurora and spent most of the day running the booth for her. Since she brought me up there and paid my site fee, I think staying in the booth and, you know, helping her sell stuff, is the least I can do.
Dinner at Mattina's was great. If you ever end up in Kingman for any reason, eat at Mattina's. Tell Carlo that you're in the SCA, he loved us. We loved him. We particularly loved his tiramiscu. Yum.
Sunday, I bummed around in the morning and then made my way slowly back to site with Arsenda. Heralded the Warlord tourney (not that they needed a lot of heralding, but it was fun nonetheless), hung out with Aurora and Blaise, visited people.
First thing I did upon arriving back in Phoenix? (Well, probably not technically the first thing, but close enough. Shaddup). I broke my mug. Dropped it right on the sidewalk. The handle broke in three pieces and the rim broke in three pieces. I am a sad, sad girlthis is my favorite mug, it's one of Duke Aaron's, it holds almost 20 ounces but doesn't feel huge or heavy, and it's black and ... bah. It was the best of mugs.
And I am the sleepiest of Bertanas. Y'all can yell at me later for the lack of photos.
