The loudest self.
Apr. 12th, 2005 08:30 amI don't know how I missed this, but Andrea Dworkin passed away on Sunday.
A fun thing that went around a while back was to do a google search on your own name plus the word "is" to find out what you are out there. So, for example, I could do a search on "Maggi is" or "Bertana is" and copy the snippets that google gives (not going to the linked site, just copying google's summary). Susie Bright did the same for Andrea Dworkin is, and one of the snippets that caught my eye was, "Andrea Dworkin is the loudest self".
When I do a similar survey of my own thoughts, I come up with Andrea Dworkin was: passionate, melodramatic, thoughtful, strident, determined, strong, scared, loving—just for starters.
