Tomorrow is Sancha's birthday! She's turning 33.

I tried to beat her into the office this morning and failed, damnit. I'd wanted to leave her cake sitting on her desk so it would be there when she got in. Instead, I just walked up and handed it to her and walked away with her going, "What? AAHH!"

And no, I didn't bake her cake. I bought it at Fry's. I am the laziest of the lazy-asses.

Mingo's got war games all weekend and we're busy with the move etc on SAT/SUN and we game tomorrow night...dag nabbit! Any ideas?

Not a one ... I know he and Tati are going to *try* to do a nice / maybe even romantic dinner Friday night if he's not too tired. She's going to spend most of the weekend at home, doing some work and some projects.

I'm thinking of maybe picking her up when I get out of work and getting pedicures, going to lingerie shop and then a dessert? Think she will like that? Mingo's headed to the flightline so I can't ask him.

Do you mean for tonight? I'm not sure what time she'll be leaving Phoenix, so I don't know how late she'll get back down to Tucson. But if she makes it down there at a decent hour, I'm sure she'd love it.

And she might not want to do all that tomorrow, if she and Mingo are going to try to go out to dinner when he gets home; he's supposed to be off by 6pm, I think.

yeah I was thinking tomorrow like 1:30-ish. Mingo's email was "if you can get the girls together for something that would be good"

So, I was thinking grabbing cecilia (since she's out of school) and having a fun-ish afternoon. Still get home by 6pm.

Calling is probably a good idea ... but I would just call and ask if she'll have time to do a late lunch tomorrow, don't tell her the whole plan. Then surprise her with Meg + the rest of the plan when you get there.

Though that won't be too bad...I will eat lunch late since they are having pizza (not from magpies with soy) for our meeting tomorrow.
