Comfort Food

I have got a mad craving for mac 'n cheese. My Mom-mom's mac 'n cheese. YOM.

I am actually almost sad that we have a big ol' catered luncheon today. Yes, y'all, I'm disappointed that I'm getting free Macayo's, because I would prefer to be off searching for mac 'n cheese. Craziness.

I am going to beg Mom to make some while I'm home. This will amuse her; every time I've seen her since I came to AZ, she has asked if she could make me some special dish. For the past year or two it's been requests for comfort food: mac 'n cheese, pizza soup, lasagna.

She tries to do them every other Tuesday, but she cancelled this week's-- she was in a car accident and is recuperating (messed-up back, torn rotator cuff). So I'm not sure when she'll pick them up again.
