Y'all out here always confuse me with your use of "next Monday". See, the Monday that happens after this weekend? Is "this coming" Monday. Then, a week from this coming monday, is "next" Monday.

So Jeff knows that he has to pick up the kids from day care that day?

Oh! And the Monday that began this week (the 31st) is "this past Monday" or "Monday past".

I also really miss the way "Monday" is pronounced back home. The second syllable sounds more like "ee" than "ay", and is barely even heard. MUN-de.
