By using MRIs to scan the brains of college students as they fell in love, neuroscientists have identified the portion of the brain associated with romantic, passionate love.

Interestingly, it's not located in the same area of the brain that controls purely physical attraction or the part associated with long-term emotional attachment. Instead, it's located in the part of the brain associated with basic needs such as hunger and thirst.


So, my only question is ... since they know where it is, they can lobotomize it, right?
